Our beginning
Travel Sketch began on a trip to Thailand, with a group of mates on annual leave filming adventures. Wanting more, three of us eventually quit our jobs to travel full-time, backpacking across Asia and road-tripping through Europe.
Boat life
In 2021, Trent, Telicia and Tynan took a giant leap, leaving Australia to move aboard a Leopard Catamaran. We never expected the immense amount of defects a new boat, our new home, could have. The warranty saga took years to rectify, transforming us, our plans and our futures.
The adventure today
While our crew has changed over the years, the mission of SV Liger remains the same; to serve as a floating base from which we can explore the world and live life to the fullest. In 2026, that adventure includes transiting through the Panama Canal and crossing the Pacific Ocean towards French Polynesia.

Telicia
Logistics, provisioning, repairs, maintenance; Telicia’s as multi-skilled as they come. With a passion for travel, she’s a writer, creator, and also works with noforeignland.
Lukasz
An entrepreneur with a science and film background, an expert diver with a love of the ocean – Lukasz is the latest addition to the crew, embracing boat life and all it brings.
Rose
An Aussie Shepherd who loves being around her humans, Rose is truely a boat dog at heart. Nothing makes her happier than being out on the water, swimming, sailing and watching sea creatures.
