New Catamaran Handover: Rusted Engine & Destroyed Sail Drive (UNCENSORED)

During the handover test sail, Trent and Tynan noticed water sloshing around in the engine bay of our new yacht and the bilge light going on and off.

Details include the warranty dynamic with Yanmar's representatives, Leopard and boat builders. 4JH45 engines and the install by Robertson and Caine factory on Leopard Catamarans. New owners should be aware of causes, implications to warranty, who is at fault and why.

This is just one of many events that used up the boys time in Cape Town. Warranty issues like this and having them resolved prevented them from enjoying touring South Africa during their seven months, whether it be the Leopard factory or a safari tour they never got to go on.

This video evidently struck a nerve with Robertson & Caine, with their staff attempting to have it removed.
