As you can see on our channel, our Australian Shepherd comes along for all of our outdoor adventures! Something you'll generally notice her wearing while we're out and about is her Ruffwear Approach dog backpack. There are many reasons why we love this pack.

• It's lightweight and breathable which is great for the tropics.

• The fabric is quite heavy duty with little wear on Rose's backpack despite it being dragged up rocks, through waterholes and up bushy trails.

• The forward positioning of the saddlebags helps the pack stay stable, even when she goes into Zoomies mode!

• The straps are comfortable and have 5 points of adjustment.

• Along her back there's a padded handle which makes it easy for us to give her a boost when needed.

If your dog isn't used to wearing a pack then start them out with a light load and build up from there. Ruffwear advise that your dog doesn't carry more than 25% of its body weight.

We love this pack so much we actually have a second, brand new Ruffwear Approach pack sitting in storage, just in case.
