The Milwaukee M18 Wet Dry Vacuum has far outperformed our expectations. We bought it in Australia specifically to have on the boat and since then it has taken everything we've thrown at it, from dirt and dog fur to soapy water and fiberglass dust.

It's powered by the same M18 batteries that our 18v Milwaukee power tools use. It can vacuum the whole catamaran multiple times before needing a charge and is easy to empty and rinse. The unit doesn't come with a stick (but it wasn't hard to find one that fits) and serves as both our household and workshop vacuum.
