Flex Tape is one of the greatest emergency tools we have on our boat! It's a flexible, rubberised adhesive tape that we've found holds up extremely well in the marine environment.

Our role of Flex Tape was invaluable during the first ocean crossing from Cape Town to Europe. In the early hours of the morning, days from land, the starboard hull window in the owners cabin started peeling off. A significant amount of water was coming into the cabin, flooding the window sill and running onto the bed. It was too dangerous to try to secure the window from the outside but they were able to use the Flex Tape to secure it from the inside. It immediately halted any further delamination and held the window in until we were able to rebed our Leopard 45 windows.
